Ahmed El Kosheri was the founding partner of Kosheri, Rashed & Riad. Dr. El Kosheri was a Senior Statesperson and one of the top arbitrators in the world. His professional path was tremendous, as he was the founding general counsel for the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development and undertook numerous legal works for the Fund thereafter. Furthermore, Dr. El Kosheri was the vice chairman of the ICC Court of Arbitration from 1998 until 2009 and was the chairman of the executive committee of the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration “CRCICA”, in addition to being member of the board of trustees of CRCICA and a member of the International Council for Commercial Arbitration “ICCA”.
Dr. El Kosheri earned his Bachelor of Laws from Cairo University, then he obtained several Diplôme d’Études Supérieures “D.E.S” from Paris University in political science and comparative law. Additionally, he received the Doctorat d’État.

Samia Rashed was one of the founders of Kosheri, Rashed & Riad. Dr. Rashed obtained her Bachelor of Laws, D.E.S in private law, D.E.S in public law, and her PhD in law from Cairo University. Notably, Dr. Samia holds the distinction of being the first Egyptian woman to be a visiting scholar to Yale Law School, a historic achievement that has paved the way for others. She has made significant contributions in the legal field, more specifically in international law, as she was a professor and the chairman of the private international law department at Cairo University’s law school.
